Step-by-Step Guide to setting up a Home Gym

Step 7: The Entertainment Systems

How can we forget about the blasting music, the TV shows to keep you going while working out.
A simple music radio set and a TV is all you need. Blast the music, switch to all your favourite songs and TV programmes.
This is better than a public gym, your own music, your own TV programme.
Blast the music and here you go. But of course, please do not disturb your neighbours.

We will be starting our next series from the next post onwards, "Singapore Home Gym Undergoes Renovation".

We are bringing in new items into our Home Gym. The whole process from rearranging of furnitures to setting up of new items will be posted on our blog!!!!

Step-by-Step Guide to setting up a Home Gym

Step 6: Getting Everything in Place

We are into the last few steps of our Step-by-Step Guide to setting up a Home Gym!!!!

Having completed all of the previous 5 steps, your Home Gym is almost completed. Now we have to put everything in place, and make sure its not of any obstruction to anyone or anything. For example, is your equipment blocking the door, is the equipments obstructing your path around the room.

Here's how your Home Gym will look like after getting everything in place.

Everything in place, looking neat and tidy. This is the Home Gym that you want to work out in!!!
With all the equipments that you need for your own workout routine, no fancy machines to take up extra spaces.

But!!!! That's not all!!!
We still have a little more things to do, to add to our home gym before it is complete. Stay tune for our future post on the final step in the Step-by-Step Guide to setting up a Home Gym series.

Before we end the post..................The recent hype on Wrestlemania is getting all around Singapore Home Gym too!!! Wrestlemania 28, The Rock Vs John Cena.

Step-by-step Guide to setting up a Home Gym

Hi all,

We are progressing into the next step of setting up a home gym!!!

Step 5: Putting the Home Gym Acessories aside

When you first see the title, "Putting the Home Gym Acessories aside", I'm sure lots of questions must be going through your mind.
"How am I going to use them if I am putting them aside?"
"Put them aside? I am trying to squeeze everything into my room!"
And the list goes on.......

No worries, We are not asking you to chunk them at a corner of your house. The Home gym Accessories consists of mainly, the weight plates, weight tree, barbells, dumbell handles, weighing scale, abs rollers and other items that aids in your workout routine. These are the smaller items of a home Gym, but yet they can still takes up sustaintial amount of space.

To ensure that they do not hinder your movements during a workout and yet allow easy access to it, we recomment that these items to put palce as close to the walls as possible. Take a look at the picture below.

The weight plates are of course placed on the weight tree. For the dumbell handles, they can be placed under the weight tree. This can also prevent them from rolling all over the place. The dumbell star collars can also be placed n the weight tree as shown in the picture above.

The Squat Stand when not in use, can be placed against the wall to save on the space that it will take up compared to placing it in the middle of the space area.

We often do not know where to place our barbells when not in use. To let it stand agianst the wall, or to put it on the floor. The Squat Stand can actually be used as a "Barbell Holder". This will reduce the amount of items lying on the floor, which makes the cleaning of the floor difficult.

The above mentioned arrangement will allow you to save up alot of space area. It will make your space area neater and also allow easier movement around int he space area.

Stay tune for our next post in the "Step-by-step Guide to setting up a Home Gym"

Please continue to support our blog as we continue to bring you the best inormation that you will need in setting up a Home gym.

Who's your pick for Arnold Classic 2012????
Branch Warren? Dennis Wolf? Dexter Jackson??? Evan Centopani?
